What I'm looking for

I’m seeking structured remote interpretation work, with scheduled shifts and telephone or video communication. I’m prepared to follow client instructions and provide accurate, neutral interpretation with attention to terminology, confidentiality and cultural nuance.

At Ji Mei Te Company Limited, I worked as a Manager and Senior Chinese Translator, supporting communication between people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I used Chinese–English language skills and knowledge of Chinese language and culture to support accurate understanding.

At the Confucius Institute, University of Lagos, I completed internship training in fundamental Chinese language instruction. I explained Chinese concepts to English-speaking learners and adapted explanations to their language comprehension needs.

My academic work at Southwest University includes published research on language, culture, intercultural communication and Chinese language education. I’m available for structured remote interpretation work and can work independently with telephone or video communication.
