I'm a finance systems and BI analyst based in Sofia, Bulgaria (EU citizen), available fully remote across the EU, permanent or contract. I've worked in finance since 2011, including 8+ years in multi-entity corporate finance across insurance, SaaS and subscription businesses. What I do best is take a finance process that runs on manual effort and rebuild it with SQL, Excel automation and Power BI so it runs fast, ties out and can be audited.

At Assurant (NYSE-listed insurer, 2022–2026) I owned month-end reporting, reconciliation and posting for insurance clients, covering EUR 10–15m in monthly premium postings. I rebuilt the monthly client reconciliation around an ID-mapping layer, so file changes from the actuarial team no longer broke the close. Preparation across eight portfolios went from 3–4 hours to about 3 minutes. I also designed the Solvency II reinsurance calculation that ended a recurring manual adjustment, and I explained postings and variances to auditors and to the CFO.

At Cliq Digital (2017–2022), a 29-entity digital subscription group:

- Wrote all the SQL to extract the old AccountView database for the group's migration to Visma.net across 29 entities, and became the team's Visma.net power user.

- Built the group consolidation in Lucanet, plus an automated Excel-to-Lucanet reporting connection that removed about 4 days of manual consolidation reporting each month.

- Built the eight-entity budget and forecast model with an eliminations layer and growth scenarios.

- Reconciled Visa, Mastercard and Amex subscription revenue received through payment service providers.

- Automated a fully manual invoicing process, saving a full working day per week, and built a reconciliation tool for 10 corporate credit cards.

Projects: an Olist e-commerce analysis in MySQL (9 tables, 100k+ orders, 50 queries with CTEs and window functions) with a Power BI model of 50+ DAX measures, and a Power Automate + Python data-collection tool across 32 market segments in 11 countries.
