What I'm looking for

I am seeking collaborative research roles that blend wet‑lab and computational genomics, offer mentorship, hands‑on biotechnology work, and clear opportunities to develop technical and research leadership skills.

I am a Master’s student in Bioinformatics with a strong foundation in molecular biology and biotechnology, combining wet-lab experience with computational analysis. I have hands-on experience in DNA isolation, PCR and recombinant DNA techniques alongside genomic data interpretation.

I am proficient in scripting with Python, working in Linux/Unix environments and using bioinformatics tools for genomic data analysis; my honours research characterises CRISPR-Cas systems in Listeria and highlights my ability to drive computational biology projects from hypothesis to results.

I bring creative problem-solving, strong collaboration and communication skills, and a commitment to advancing biotechnology through rigorous research and applied computational methods; I have contributed as a lab technician, research assistant and student leadership roles, and I actively engage in outreach and scientific evaluation.
