What I'm looking for

I’m looking for 24×7 shift-based NOC/network support work where I can troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, manage incidents using ITSM/ticketing, and keep growing toward CCNA-level routing, switching, and enterprise network design.

I’m an Electronics & Communication Engineering graduate building practical strength in network configuration, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and NOC operations. I’m pursuing CCNA certification in parallel with hands-on work using Cisco Packet Tracer to design and simulate enterprise-grade networks.

In my academic project, I designed and simulated a multi-site enterprise network for a 3-branch organization (150+ users), achieving 99.9% uptime in simulation. I configured OSPF across all sites, reduced convergence time by 40% versus static routing, and implemented VLAN segmentation with inter-VLAN routing to reduce broadcast traffic by 60%—while applying ACLs and port security to block unauthorized access.

In my NOC simulation lab, I monitored a 10-device network, used Wireshark to analyze 500+ packets, and resolved 5 network anomalies (including ARP spoofing and ICMP flood patterns). I configured SNMP traps, practiced escalation workflows, and applied ITSM concepts (incidents, priority P1–P4, and MTTR under 15 minutes) while documenting SOPs to reduce resolution steps by 30%—and I’m ready for immediate 24×7 shift roles with willingness to relocate across India.

NOC Simulation & Monitoring

Personal Lab Project

Jun 2024 - Aug 2024 (2 months)

Built a simulated NOC for a 10-device network to practice fault detection, escalation, and incident handling. Captured and analyzed 500+ packets, identified and resolved 5 anomalies (including ARP spoofing and ICMP flood patterns), and used ITSM concepts (ServiceNow-style logging) to keep MTTR under 15 minutes for simulated P1 events.

Enterprise Network Design

Academic Project

Jan 2024 - Apr 2024 (3 months)

Designed and simulated a multi-site enterprise network for a 3-branch organization (150+ users), achieving 99.9% uptime in simulation. Configured OSPF routing, VLAN segmentation with inter-VLAN routing, and security controls (ACLs/Port Security), reducing convergence time by 40%, broadcast traffic by 60%, and blocking 100% of unauthorized VLAN access.
