Saad Aamer

I'm a Project Manager and Scrum Master with 6+ years of experience leading Agile and hybrid delivery for distributed, remote-first teams across e-commerce, fintech, and logistics. My career has taken a fairly natural progression — I started as a Business Analyst, moved into Scrum Mastery, and grew from there into Project Management and eventually regional leadership, picking up more ownership at each step rather than jumping between unrelated roles.

For the past four years, I've worked with a Melbourne-based company, owning end-to-end Agile delivery across three concurrent e-commerce client platforms — from sprint planning and backlog grooming through release and stakeholder handover — while also leading a 15-person distributed team as Head of Pakistan Region, where I've kept retention above 90%. Alongside that, I currently lead the claims function for a US-based fintech platform, where I cut average resolution time from two days to sixteen hours and reduced customer complaints by over 80% through better process design and closer coordination between Customer Experience and Engineering. I've also worked on a logistics/trucking platform, acting as the sole bridge between the CEO and the development team — gathering requirements, writing user stories, and validating releases end-to-end.

I hold a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, and I'm comfortable working across time zones with international stakeholders — most of my career has been built entirely remote, coordinating with clients and teams in Australia, the US, and the UK.

Outside of work, I follow football closely — World Cup and Olympics season are a highlight every time — and I enjoy films and TV series across genres. I've also spent time exploring small business ideas on the side, which has sharpened how I think about processes, customer needs, and what actually makes an operation run well — something that carries directly into how I approach project delivery.
