Senior Database Architect with 15+ years designing scalable relational and non-relational data platforms.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Database Architect / DBA with 15+ years of experience designing, optimizing, and sustaining relational and non-relational data platforms. I lead ETL and BI initiatives using Oracle and SQL Server across high-volume environments, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity.
At ESR Healthcare, I’ve served as the Lead Data Architect and DBA on a team of 15, supporting development and operations while running automated and manual BI and ETL processes. I created and validated complex SQL across multiple environments (PL/SQL, T-SQL, PRO*C/C) to resolve difficult performance issues, and I handled core DBA responsibilities including backup and recovery, data quality, and database tuning for large, heavily used systems.
I’ve also shaped data architecture end-to-end as a consultant and architect—building ETL staging and migration solutions, profiling/cleansing data, and aligning security and compliance requirements (including SOX-focused validation). Earlier in my career, I designed enterprise reporting and data warehouse systems, developed and migrated database architectures, and even taught Oracle database administration courses—so I bring both practical delivery and long-term architectural thinking to every engagement.
