Fibre Zone certified me as a fiber optic technician and specialist in outside plant, with hands-on training in optical network deployment, splicing, and troubleshooting. I work with fusion splicing, cable preparation, and splice enclosure assembly.
My telecommunications diploma from Canado Technique of Haiti included 1,800 hours of training and was assessed by ICAS as equivalent to a post-secondary technical diploma in Ontario. I also have experience as a Customer Service Technical Agent at Access Haiti S.A.
In telecom and fiber work, I can operate OTDR equipment and analyze traces, and use power meters, optical light sources, and visual fault locators. My training also covers network blueprints, FTTH/FTTN, structured cabling, and field safety.
