Rebekah Kasmir
@rebekahkasmir
I’m a claims and leave management professional with 18+ years of customer service and operations leadership.
What I'm looking for
I bring 18+ years of customer service experience, including 2 years of leave of absence and short-term disability claims management experience. I currently help drive smooth store operations and team performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer experience.
In my claims-focused roles at Sedgwick, I processed claims and made timely decisions on disability and paid leave benefits using plan policies, state and federal regulations, and established service standards. I communicated documentation requirements, time frames, and claims status through phone and written correspondence, and I established and tracked FMLA claims within internal workflows.
Earlier in my career, I spent 15 years at Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, where I prioritized guest safety and delivered service using “The Four Keys” (Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Efficiency). I’ve also supported retail leadership through roles at Dollar Tree and AutoZone, including training and development, inventory and cash handling, quality assurance, and problem solving—earning recognition such as multiple safe piloting awards and departmental honors.
