What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a people-first role where I can use my remote customer service, de-escalation, and CRM multitasking strengths to guide members and customers with clear, empathetic communication and reliable support.

I’m a Customer Service & Communication Specialist known for bringing calm, clarity, and empathy to every interaction. I thrive on guiding people through complex moments—whether it’s helping members use healthcare tools, supporting riders on the road, or helping families and students navigate challenges.

In my Remote Customer Service Representative role with Elevance Health, I strengthened digital engagement by helping members successfully use healthcare tools and increasing confidence in self-service options. I resolved inquiries across multiple systems at once, demonstrating multitasking and technical proficiency in CRM platforms and internal knowledge bases while maintaining professionalism and accuracy across phone, chat, and digital channels.

As an Independent Contractor/Driver with Uber Technologies, I provide high-quality, person-to-person customer service by addressing rider questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a safe, positive experience. I’ve maintained a 99%+ satisfaction rating by using clear communication, service recovery skills, and digital tool management while staying calm in time-sensitive situations.

Before customer service, I built deep people skills as an Educator in DeKalb County Schools. From 2008–2020, I delivered clear, empathetic communication and consistently resolved questions, concerns, and conflicts with patience and professionalism, while managing multiple digital platforms in fast-paced environments. I also served as Secretary for Board of Directors for Girls Talk, supporting community initiatives through precise documentation, logistics, and professional communication with board members, volunteers, and partners.
