What I'm looking for
I’m a Permitting Manager who secures approvals to move projects from application to full construction—handling everything from CUP/IUPs and building permits to stormwater and erosion requirements. I supervise and hire permitting specialists, develop internal processes (including a permit tracking matrix), and ensure every team member can answer questions even without on-site work. I work directly with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction, Environmental, Title, and landowners, while reviewing engineering site plans against local AHJ requirements.
I also bring long-running operational and leadership experience from roles as President/Partner, Director of Operations for Construction & Materials, and volunteer/director positions where compliance, training, and risk mitigation mattered every day. I’m comfortable interfacing with owners, financiers/investors, vendors, tenants, and municipal officials, and I present confidently at public meetings to help obtain approvals in writing. I’ve emphasized community outreach and clear communication throughout—aiming to build trust and reduce permitting friction.
