At Edge Grove School, I taught Year 3 Maths, English, Science and many other subjects as well as coaching sports, creating a safe learning environment and adapting lessons to pupils’ needs. I assessed their progress and led school teams at matches against other schools.
At Kingsbury High School, I taught Physical Education and served as a Form Tutor. I adapted resources for students with SEN and EAL, and used retrieval practice to help students demonstrate prior learning.
While team teaching GCSE PE at Kingsbury High School, I ran revision lessons and developed knowledge organisers; students’ grades improved from 2–5 in mock exams to 5–9 in their final exams after the interventions. I also started Game On UK, a project with 10–12 female students focused on leadership and character development.
At Wembley High Technology College, I taught Physical Education and supported students as a Form Tutor. I completed my Graduate Training Programme in Secondary Physical Education with Qualified Teacher Status at the Institute of Education, and hold a BSc (Hons.) in Sports Studies.
Prior to my full time teaching career, I works at Peter Jones (John Lewis Partnership) in the call centre and the shop floor, working on delivering outstanding customer service and shopping experience.
