What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an ASL teaching role where I can deliver immersive instruction, build structured lesson plans, and support students through clear class management, inclusive culture, and constructive feedback.

I’m an ASL Teacher and instructor focused on creating an engaging, immersive learning environment for students taking ASL 1 and ASL 2. I develop curriculum and lesson plans using established materials like Signing Naturally and True Way ASL, and I guide students with structured instruction that supports real language growth.

Across my roles—from teaching at the university level as an Adjunct and Instructor In Residence to serving as an ASL Teacher at the Marie Philip School for the Deaf—I’ve prioritized class management, strong rapport, and inclusive classroom culture. I assess student performance and provide constructive feedback, and I also teach deaf culture and communication strategies to meet the needs of students with varying ages and skill levels.
