Danielle Nixon

I deliver undergraduate English composition at Arizona State University and teach Business Writing and introductory composition remotely at Arizona College of Nursing. I design curricula, assess portfolio-based writing, and use multimodal composing and digital literacy tools to support student growth.

I've also developed and implemented IEPs for K–2 students with diverse disabilities, including nonverbal autism spectrum disorder. My instruction incorporates PECS, AAC devices, visual supports, structured routines, and progress-monitoring data.

At the College of Southern Nevada, I advised students with disabilities, interpreted supporting documentation for accommodation decisions, and supervised up to five employees supporting incoming students.

Across English intervention, SEI, special education, ESL, and customer support roles, I bring curriculum development, LMS experience, data management, mentorship, and a dependable focus on service quality.
