What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can run DNA extraction and sequencing, analyze results for meaningful biological insights, and use culturally sensitive, medically accurate communication to support clients and teams.

I’m a DNA Technologist and Biology graduate with 4 years of laboratory experience, including DNA extraction and sequencing DNA. I also analyze data for potential growth of new species, bringing careful attention to accuracy and research quality using tools like Nanodrop, centrifuge, vortex, and soil sampling.

Alongside my lab work, I have 2 years of interpreting experience as a Haitian Creole interpreter, supporting clients from health insurance and clinic/hospital visits to immigration appointments and 911 dispatch needs. I combine cultural sensitivity, medical terminology, and informed consent with a people-first approach—backed by experience as a patient observer and research assistant—so information is handled responsibly and communication stays clear.
