What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build advocacy capacity through policy analysis, coalition organizing, training, and program design. I want to translate complex issues into useful tools, sustain stakeholder engagement, and support communities in turning policy into action.

I've helped advocacy organizations turn complex policy into action through legislative analysis, grassroots organizing, training, and coalition building. My work combines a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School with experience across government agencies, nonprofits, and community campaigns.

At REI, I led a 30+ person union organizing committee that secured majority support despite employer opposition. I built one-on-one relationships with coworkers, translated labor law into accessible guidance for first-time organizers, and coordinated communications and event logistics for a distributed volunteer team.

With the U.S. Department of Justice's ICITAP, I co-authored a feasibility report and pilot design for standardized incident management systems addressing climate-driven security challenges. At the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, I tracked legislative and agency developments, wrote policy guidance, cataloged 50+ assistance programs, and presented climate-resilience findings to Minnesota's Interagency Climate Adaptation Team.

I've also designed public-facing climate education, facilitated community programs and convenings at CEMUS, and created training plans for student-athletes. I bring a practical, people-centered approach to building networks, sustaining stakeholder engagement, and making technical information useful to affected communities.
