What I'm looking for

I’m looking to serve as the Head Start Education Supervisor, using staff supervision, curriculum development, and program leadership to build inclusive classrooms. I’ll mentor educators, strengthen quality and compliance, and use data to guide behavior and academic initiatives.

I’m a dedicated early childhood educator with 10+ years of experience leading classrooms and mentoring teachers. I bring curriculum development, staff supervision, and program leadership, with a proven ability to foster inclusive learning environments.

In my current role, I plan and deliver engaging lessons in literacy, math, science, and social-emotional learning for students aged 5-6. As a grade lead, I coordinate curriculum planning, grade-level meetings, and collaborative instructional strategies, while contributing to behavior committee and steering committee initiatives. I also assess and monitor student progress, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and I mentor a student teacher in lesson planning and classroom management.

Previously, I served as a Third Grade Teacher and Grade Lead, and I was Head of Math Committee—developing curriculum and instructional resources and supporting teachers in implementing best practices. Across my teaching experience, I’ve monitored student progress, mentored colleagues, facilitated professional development, and strengthened family engagement and communication. I’m seeking to leverage this expertise as the Head Start Education Supervisor.
