I’m a senior backend engineer with 5+ years of production experience in Java/Spring Boot and Python/FastAPI. I’m currently developing applied mastery in agentic engineering from the Andela AI Engineering Bootcamp—using IDE-native agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) inside real codebases, alongside deep familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and secure API design in regulated fintech environments.

In my current role as Lead Backend Engineer (Contract) at Trybe Mobile, I own architectural decisions and provide technical direction across backend system design, security, and delivery trade-offs. I designed and maintained multi-service REST APIs with OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC—sustaining 99.9% availability in production—and enforced CI/CD security gates with GitHub Actions and Docker. Previously at Simplify Synergy, I shipped Java and Python SDKs integrating enterprise compliance APIs and a core banking system, architected Apache Kafka event-driven microservices, and migrated PostgreSQL to MongoDB to reduce query latency by 30%—while mentoring 200+ junior engineers on secure backend architecture and OWASP-aligned practices.
