I’m looking for roles where I can own backend systems end-to-end and extend them with practical AI (RAG, agents, LLM workflows), partnering with teams that value reliability, observability, clean architecture, and shipping measurable improvements.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 8+ years designing, building, and operating scalable backend-first systems across Node.js/TypeScript, Python, and Golang in cloud-native environments. I focus on production-grade microservices, event-driven systems, and end-to-end API integration.

Most recently, I’m building serverless and event-driven workflows with AWS Lambda, SNS, and CloudWatch, including structured logging, observability, and automated testing for reliable execution. I also improved backend query performance and stabilized distributed job processing (e.g., BullMQ), delivering measurable latency gains.

Previously at MijnDomein, I rebuilt core systems to reduce network overhead and improved end-to-end latency by 20%. I also architected and launched a scalable GraphQL promotion rules engine, while leading initiatives around fraud prevention, 2FA, and premium pricing logic.

Now I’m extending into AI engineering through Andela’s AI Engineering Bootcamp, building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, AI agents, and LLM-powered workflows. My goal is to ship practical, reliable AI systems that integrate cleanly with real production backends.
