I’m looking for a team where I can lead backend engineering on secure, privacy-focused products—building scalable Python services, REST APIs, and async workflows in the cloud, with a strong quality culture (testing/observability) and real technical leadership.

I’m a results-driven Senior Backend Engineer with 7+ years building scalable web applications using Python, Django, and cloud infrastructure. I focus on designing high-performance backend systems, implementing RESTful APIs, and managing asynchronous task processing with Celery and message queues—especially for data privacy and security-focused applications.

In my recent roles, I led backend development of an External Attack Surface Management (EASM) scanner using Python and FastAPI, building real-time data processing pipelines for consumer data protection. I also architected workflow orchestration with AWS SQS and Temporal.io, and built fault-tolerant API clients integrating security services like Shodan, SecurityTrails, and Censys. I ensure quality and reliability through testing strategies (unit testing, mocking, CI static analysis with mypy/ruff) and by deploying observability with OpenTelemetry and Grafana Loki across microservices.

Earlier, I developed advanced search systems with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and built scalable indexing/query services with Go and Bleve backed by PostgreSQL. I’ve driven automation and integrations—shipping a first public Zapier app and building workflows with Python, JavaScript, n8n, Zapier, and Odoo—and contributed to product growth at Farmwallet by delivering RESTful agricultural APIs and UI/UX improvements.
