What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a hands-on technical role where I can manage GPS/fleet reliability, handle troubleshooting and logistics support, and produce clear data reports—while continuing to grow my Python and data analytics skills.

I’m a dedicated Mechanical and GPS Tracking Technician who keeps machinery running smoothly and operations on track. I pair hands-on fleet maintenance—installation, service, and troubleshooting—with data practices that help monitor asset performance.

At WATU CREDIT UGANDA LTD, I manage GPS tracking and install tracking devices, including monitoring staff motorcycles used for recovery of defaulting clients. I also support logistics through warehouse and stock management, handle customer care, and execute electrical wiring and systematic troubleshooting, general service, and repair.

Before that, I worked as a technician at NISH AUTO LTD/EMASA and YUVRAJ TVS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, performing assembly, service, and repair of Bajaj and TVS motorcycles. I also handled accurate data entry for technical and inventory records, maintained service logs, and conducted Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure safety and quality.

My background includes mechanical trainee work with the Ministry of Works and Transport, with preventive and corrective maintenance on road equipment and diagnostics on multi-cylinder diesel engines and hydraulic control systems. I continually build my analytics capability using SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Forms, and developing programming skills in Python.
