At Flutterwave, I lead commercial partnerships and market expansion across Southern Africa, expanding card acquiring, cross-border payments, and merchant acceptance in regulated markets.
I enabled domestic card acceptance in South Africa through a local PSP integration, generating ZAR 3M+ in monthly revenue. I also structured a Merchant of Record partnership that enabled international merchants to collect payments in South Africa without local incorporation, unlocking $3M in additional monthly revenue.
I coordinate merchants, acquirers, PSPs, regulators, sponsor banks, and engineering teams to deliver payment solutions and resolve transaction and settlement issues. My work includes licensing initiatives such as an IMTO license in Malawi, generating MWK 5M in monthly revenue.
I've progressed from merchant onboarding and regulatory documentation in East Africa to analysing payment-rail performance, negotiating partner pricing, and driving profitable expansion decisions across Flutterwave's Southern African operations.
