What I'm looking for

I’m looking for roles in a multicultural, EU-focused environment where I can deliver high-precision conference interpreting and technical translation, collaborate in large translation projects, and keep growing through continuous training and development.

I’m a conference interpreter & translator with 37 years of interpreting and translation experience, including staff work at the European Commission from 1987 to 1994 and freelance interpreting thereafter until 2014. I supported meetings of the Commission, the Council of Ministers, the European Council, and related institutions, navigating Europe’s major linguistic and institutional evolution as the EEC became the European Union.

Today, I lead interpretation and translation delivery through INTERTRANS Interpretation & Translation Services (Co-Founder, Managing Partner, 05/2004–06/2020) and continue as a freelance translator since 06/2020. I focus on interpreting in booths, consecutively and whispered, and on technical translation across areas like medicine, pharma, finance, public administration, corporate, and legal documents—bringing the precision, confidentiality, and project coordination needed in multicultural, fast-changing environments.

Co-founded and led a multilingual interpreting and translation business, delivering conference interpreting across the EU and translation services in Greece covering 25+ languages. Managed large-scale translation projects and provided technical translation in areas including medicine, pharma, finance, public administration, corporate, and legal documents.
