What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue as a school-based therapist where I can deliver individual and group therapy, write IEP Social/Emotional goals, lead behavior plan progress with accurate data, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.

I’m a counseling professional focused on helping students and families grow through structured, compassionate support. I earned a Master Degree in Counseling with Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I bring both clinical and school-based experience to every caseload.

Early on, I built a strong foundation through hands-on work in juvenile probation, including preparing court reports, participating in client interviews and home visits, and researching resources to meet offender needs. I also developed real-world caregiving and intervention skills while supervising girls ages 6 to 19 with behavioral and developmental delays and disabilities, using Love and Logic© principles and Professional Assault Crisis Training.

At Olive Crest Academy, I advanced from assistant teacher roles (Tier 1 and Tier 2) into Behavioral Interventionist, where I implemented Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), ensured classroom tracking of Target/Replacement behavior data, trained staff, and completed behavior reports for incidents requiring a Behavior Emergency Report (BER). I then supported students as a Therapist by providing individual and group therapy interventions aligned to students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

As a Therapist, I write, update, modify, and evaluate Social/Emotional goals in compliance with annual IEP timelines, coordinate care through IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration, and provide crisis intervention including suicide and threat assessments as necessary. I’m committed to careful documentation, coordinated communication with parents and residential program personnel, and maintaining clear, measurable progress through behavior plan data collection.
