What I'm looking for

I want to use my crisis de-escalation experience to provide phone-based support with a calm, focused presence—staying objective, documenting clearly, and helping people de-escalate and stay safe.

For the last two years, I’ve worked directly with vulnerable populations during behavioral crises, helping them de-escalate and stay safe. I’ve learned to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly in high-stress moments, and keep objective records that hold up under clinical scrutiny.

As a Registered Behaviour Technician at Action Behavior Centers, I provided one-to-one early intervention ABA therapy to children with ASD in a clinic setting, including de-escalation and support during moments of distress or dysregulation. I also supported daily living and self-care skills through individualized, trauma-informed behavior intervention plans.

I collect and interpret real-time behavioral data—using antecedent-behavior-consequence patterns—to assess triggers and guide immediate clinical decision making. I document behavioural data and session outcomes objectively, applying critical thinking to adjust intervention strategies in real time while building trust and rapport with each client.

Outside clinical work, I bring the same calm, people-first approach to structured support environments. As an English Language Arts Instructor and Teaching Assistant, I created nonjudgmental spaces, adapted communication in real time, led weekly discussion sessions for 70+ students, and supported students through approachable one-on-one guidance—experiences that prepare me to bring a focused, empathetic presence to phone-based crisis support.
