Advocacy Coordinator at Refugee Action Coalition of Colorado advancing policies for refugee and immigrant communities.

United States
Message

At Refugee Action Coalition of Colorado, I coordinate statewide advocacy initiatives supporting refugee and immigrant communities. I connect coalition partners, policymakers, and community organizations, and translate policy developments into accessible information and advocacy opportunities.

At Cherry Creek Pediatric Dentistry, I managed and supported a team of five employees. I led people and culture initiatives spanning recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance management.

At Community Sponsorship Hub, I processed and tracked more than 1,000 refugee resettlement cases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with U.S. State Department protocols. I also reviewed refugee protection claims, delivered staff training, and supported a temporary housing project.

Earlier, I developed community integration and rights awareness programs at Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest – Refugee Resettlement Programs, and supported research on peacebuilding and governance in Africa at the Institute for Regional and Comparative Studies. I hold an M.A. in International Human Rights & Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Denver – Josef Korbel School of International Studies.
