At the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, I lead statewide advocacy to expand equitable healthcare access, including behavioral health and criminal justice reform.
I collaborate with legislators and community partners on Medicaid waivers, competency-system improvements, and barriers affecting underserved communities. I also develop policy education sessions, advocacy trainings, policy briefs, and impact reports for judicial officers, attorneys, and partners.
Through Vanguard Justice and Light Carrier, I support families navigating civil rights and post-conviction relief, build restorative Justice Action Plans, and direct nonprofit work advancing racial equity, health access, and juvenile justice reform.
My 15+ years across behavioral health and the criminal justice system include wraparound case management, leadership training, coalition building, and statewide oversight. Grounded in lived experience, I center dignity, equity, restorative justice, and person-centered solutions.
