Permanent Auxiliary Teacher and international relations educator who mentors through research and editing.
What I'm looking for
I am a Permanent Auxiliary Teacher for Jefferson Co. Public Schools (Social Studies Certified), and I bring a long teaching record that spans substitute teaching through university-level instruction. In every role, I focus on clear communication, strong classroom routines, and helping students connect course content to real-world decisions.
Earlier in my career, I served as a Visiting Assistant Dean and Visiting Associate Professor at OP Jindal Global University (School of International Affairs), where I taught Research Methods and the International Development Sector to graduate students in the Diplomacy, Law and Business Program. I also supported the JGU Curriculum Committee, helped with study abroad MOUs, and advised students on curriculum and study abroad pathways.
Alongside teaching, I contribute to scholarly and editorial work as a Shareholder, Author Mentor, and Peer Review Reader for Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems & Community Development at the Lyson Center for Civic Agriculture & Food Systems, Cornell Univ., editing manuscripts for grammar, style, and occasionally content. My background also includes faculty and instructor roles, development of a student retention protocol for DeVry, grading Cognitive Ability Tests/CATS for Measured Progress (now Cognia), and two years of copy editing work at the Miller Center for Public Affairs.
