What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to inspire students and foster community engagement while promoting innovative teaching practices.

As a dedicated Social Studies Teacher at Fredonia Central School District since 2018, I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of subjects including Global History, US History, and APUSH. My commitment to fostering a positive learning environment is evident through my innovative lesson designs and collaborative projects with colleagues. I take pride in creating engaging educational experiences that promote student literacy and civic engagement.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I served as the Interact Club Advisor, where I empowered students to take leadership roles in community service initiatives. This role allowed me to instill a sense of pride and belonging among students while actively participating in local events. My previous experiences, including long-term substitute teaching and working at the Summit Center Summer Treatment Program, have further enriched my ability to connect with students and support their socio-emotional growth.

Organized an annual schoolwide Holocaust Speaker Assembly and created an elective "Human Rights" designed to foster global citizenship, research skills, and civic engagement.
