What I'm looking for

I'm seeking work supporting students and families through counseling, college access, advocacy, program development, and community engagement.

I've guided first-generation and low-income students toward higher education through counseling, individualized success plans, and college-readiness programming at Marquette University.

As a Pre-College Counselor, I organized local, regional, and national college tours; led workshops on test preparation and financial aid; recruited participants; and built partnerships with schools, parents, and community stakeholders.

I also trained tutoring staff, coordinated summer programs, tracked student outcomes, and delivered impactful programming despite limited resources. My earlier work included financial aid support, legislative internships, and mentoring inner-city high school students through Upward Bound.

As a family caregiver and community advocate, I've built advanced skills navigating special education, Medicaid, insurance processes, and disability rights. I bring advocacy, mediation, school-volunteer leadership, and fluent Spanish communication to student support and community services work.
