Dedicated school counselor with expertise in student support and development.
What I'm looking for
I am a passionate school counselor with extensive experience in providing comprehensive support to students. My journey began with a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Louisville, where I graduated magna cum laude. Over the years, I have worked in various educational settings, including Butler Traditional High School, Highland Middle School, and Campbell County Middle School, where I implemented effective counseling programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
Throughout my career, I have taken on leadership roles such as ARC Chair for Special Education Services and Co-Building Administrative Coordinator. I have successfully developed and delivered classroom guidance lessons, facilitated small-group interventions, and analyzed data to enhance the counseling programs. My commitment to student success is evident in my ability to identify achievement gaps and create targeted interventions that foster resilience and growth.
In addition to my counseling experience, I have presented at national conferences, sharing insights on creating ASCA certified comprehensive school counseling programs. I am dedicated to continuous professional development and am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to a forward-thinking educational institution that values student well-being and academic success.
