At HISD, I manage the college and career readiness program at my campus and provide college readiness enrichment for underrepresented students. I offer workshops, boot camps, tutoring, and mentoring sessions.
I also assist undocumented students and guide them after graduation. I use student and district data to inform campus priorities, support program development, and identify solutions to program challenges.
At Kipp East End High School, I assisted the junior class with post-secondary preparation and taught a college preparatory seminar. I created lessons on college options, majors, internships, test-taking skills, and college readiness portfolios.
At UT Youth Engagement Center, I supported students in Title One high schools with college readiness activities and recruited students for Project Explore. Earlier, I taught first grade bilingually at Shepherd Primary Elementary School and assisted bilingual families at Francis Elementary.
