What I'm looking for
I am a dependable psychopathology graduate with hands-on experience supporting children across early childhood, middle, and high school settings. I hold a BA in Psychopathology, an Associate's in Psychology, and a minor in Disability Studies for Mental & Behavioral Health.
In my current role as a Student Advisor, I conduct intake interviews, facilitate individual and group advising, manage student records, and connect families to academic and support resources. I monitor milestones, perform outreach, and support college admissions guidance and reporting.
Previously I served as a Head Teacher and Shelter Child Supervision Liaison, developing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, maintaining child-centered environments, and completing necessary administrative duties. I prioritize effective communication with families and adherence to licensing and safety standards.
I bring strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, bilingual ability in English and intermediate Spanish, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Mandated Reporting, Food Handling, and Mental Health First Aid. I am committed to improving children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
