I build student success programs and trauma-informed support pathways through coaching, research, and advocacy.
What I'm looking for
At Rochester General College of Health Careers, I develop student-success initiatives that strengthen retention, persistence, academic achievement, and career readiness. I coach students through academic, personal, financial, and professional barriers while connecting them with campus and community resources.
I design workshops, needs assessments, satisfaction surveys, goal-planning tools, and outcome tracking to improve programs and student engagement. I also contribute to a Counseling and Wellness Framework and serve as Co-Chair of the Student Success Center Committee.
My research background spans the University at Buffalo's Social Metacognition Lab and Child Health and Behavior Lab, where I recruited participants, conducted studies, supported data analysis, and presented findings on a play-based food-liking intervention for diverse families.
With graduate training in criminology and undergraduate training in psychology, I'm focused on counseling needs for victims of depression, trauma, and sexual violence. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Work to become a culturally responsive clinician, researcher, and advocate for victims of violence and systemic neglect.
