I’m an Insurance and business development professional with over a decade of experience in underwriting, claims management, and agency leadership within Kenya’s insurance sector. I build client relationships, negotiate competitive premiums, and strengthen product knowledge through staff training and capacity building.

In my role as Business Development Manager at Choice Progressive Insurance Agency, I spearheaded the agency’s launch—establishing operational structures and marketing strategies that drove sustained growth and attracted new clientele. I managed day-to-day agency operations to sustain steady revenue generation and service delivery, while advising clients on suitable insurance products and negotiating on their behalf with underwriters.

I also focus on expanding coverage where it matters most. I led the introduction of agriculture and livestock insurance products in Limuru, increasing policy uptake among local farmers, and I delivered training sessions to staff of the parent company Choice Microfinance Bank to strengthen their knowledge of insurance products.

Earlier, as an Underwriting Officer at Samnel Insurance Brokers Limited, I supported clients through claims handling and managed all aspects of the claims department to ensure client queries were resolved in a timely manner. I’ve complemented my insurance work with finance experience as an accounts intern—supporting internal audit processes, processing supplier invoices within an ERP system, and contributing to credit control through debt collection activities. I’m motivated by building practical systems that improve outcomes for clients and teams.
