Melody Cottingham

At Tennessee State University, I lead institutional assessment and analytics across EAB Navigate, Handshake, Suitable, Blackboard, and NSSE, turning complex data into executive dashboards and strategic recommendations. As Acting Director of the Quality Enhancement Plan, I chair cross-functional efforts advancing accreditation, continuous improvement, advising, and early identification of at-risk students.

Previously, I designed a multi-measure MTSS framework for approximately 1,000 students and authored a district-wide intervention proposal that expanded equitable support to approximately 40,000 middle school students. I also design professional learning that helps faculty, staff, and educators apply assessment, data, and technology to improve student outcomes.
