Melissa Seipp

I am a dedicated higher education professional with a strong focus on student success. With over five years of experience in admissions and student accounts, I have honed my skills in student advising, recruitment, and program coordination. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Illinois State University, followed by a Master of Science in Higher Education and Community College from Eastern Illinois University, where I am currently completing my degree.

Throughout my career, I have been known for building authentic connections with students and families, improving processes, and fostering inclusive environments. At the University of Mount Olive, I served as a Student Accounts Representative, where I advised students on financial matters and coordinated between departments to resolve issues. My role as an Admissions Counselor at Illinois State University allowed me to conduct recruitment presentations and plan events that engaged prospective students, utilizing data tools to inform our outreach strategies.
