At Gift Street Capital, I engineered a temporal-based trading-limit approval workflow with configurable single, multi-approver, and quorum-based flows. I also integrated approvals with Microsoft Teams so approvers could review and act on requests directly from chat.
I optimized the Executive TraderAnalysis and Capital Requirements APIs, reducing response latency from 1,300ms to 250ms with precomputed daily snapshots. I also built an OpenBB-like analytics platform integrating 5+ financial data sources for custom dashboards and LLM-powered automation.
During my Software Engineering Internship at Gift Street Capital, I replaced legacy HTTP polling with WebSocket-based delivery, reducing economic calendar update latency from 5 seconds to 50 milliseconds. I also integrated Kafka for event-driven updates and developed a pipeline for bond auction results and U.S. economic events.
At Schrodinger (The D.E. Shaw Group), I developed a full-stack application that consolidated 3 legacy tools and reduced tool latency by 10%. In a personal project, I built a C++17 Redis-compatible in-memory key-value store with a non-blocking Reactor, Pub/Sub, transactions, and persistence.
