Mayowa Olajide Akinleye

I’m a highly effective, results-driven Project and Operations Manager with a proven track record in leading complex projects, streamlining operations, and driving product adoption. I bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, backed by hands-on experience across project delivery, product development, and operational execution.

As a Project Manager at Fembol Group in Lagos (September 2024–Present), I’ve led the design and renovation of the new head office—ensuring quality requirements were delivered within cost and within a specified timeframe. I also reorganized internal operations processes to improve visibility, helping maintain an almost perfect operations performance record between Q2 and Q3.

Previously, as a Product Manager (Remote, May 2023–December 2024) at Gendermobile, I managed the development of an app that provides response and prevention features to combat sexual harassment in higher education campuses. I redesigned and implemented the strategy roadmap to drive adoption in Nigeria, reaching 2k DAUs and becoming operational in 4 campuses within three months, while conducting 27+ user interviews and owning project development from ideation through feature development.

Earlier, as an Operations Associate at Airsea Freighters (Lagos, August 2019–February 2020), I arranged documentation for shipment release at the ports and brokered with shipping companies, customs agents, terminal operators, and Transporters. I also handled work logs and job updates reports with a clear, concise approach—and I continue to build my foundation through ongoing leadership and product management training.
