Marta Maria Romano

I am a project manager focused on digital innovation and emerging technologies, with hands-on experience leading European and national projects in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics and One Health sustainability. I manage international consortia, coordinate technical governance, and supervise budgets, KPIs and deliverables.

At Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma I led the GRACE project developing AI solutions for care-pathway optimization, remote monitoring and clinical decision support, and coordinated EPoCA, ENKORE and the PNRR Afya Moja projects with strong emphasis on ethics, regulation and UN-aligned impact assessment.

I contributed to academic program development by defining and organizing an Executive Master's in Applied Artificial Intelligence Engineering, shaping curriculum and faculty coordination with a focus on AI governance and data compliance, and I supported technology transfer activities including patent acquisition and spin-off creation.

My background includes consulting experience as a Life Science & Healthcare Solution Analyst at Deloitte, proficiency in data-driven solution design, and skills across Python, MATLAB, Power BI, WordPress and project management tools. I deliver results through strategic partnerships, digital dissemination and practical routes to industrial and clinical adoption.
