I’m a backend-focused software engineer with 3+ years building and shipping production-grade web systems in Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and NestJS. I enjoy owning services end-to-end—from schema design through deployment—and I’m especially strong in API design, authentication/authorization, and microservice architectures.

In my HNG Internship, I’ve been building production-ready APIs and developer tooling. I built Insighta Labs+ profiles API with Express/MongoDB (filtering, sorting, pagination, and NLP-based natural language search), scored 94/100 on formal evaluation, and implemented GitHub OAuth with PKCE plus JWT access/refresh token authentication with role-based access control and API versioning.

I’ve also led backend development for real product needs, including school management systems. At Pontex Global, I designed core data models and REST API endpoints, configured Nginx for load balancing, and delivered features with agile planning. At Nobbnet, I implemented secure authentication routes with session control, used Redis caching to reduce database load, and integrated payment processing and task management into production systems.

Some of my best work is in my microservices and systems projects. For SkillUp Africa, I architected a NestJS monorepo with TCP-transport microservices (auth-service, API gateway, school-service), built a complete authentication flow with JWT refresh/rotation, designed message-pattern handlers with atomic/compensating transactions, and integrated Paystack for per-term billing. For KDC (a Nigerian NGO school), I built a Node.js/Express/TypeScript/MongoDB backend for exam scheduling, timetabling, question banks, exam sessions, results processing, and grade analytics—always with resilience and performance in mind. I’m ALX Software Engineering certified and I bring an Agile/Scrum mindset, clean-code discipline, and a security-first approach to every system.
