I’m a backend-focused software engineer specializing in Python and TypeScript ecosystems, with a strong bias toward building reliable, maintainable services. I design RESTful APIs and security-forward authentication/authorization flows, from first principles through production hardening.

In my current role as a Backend Developer, I build modular backend services using NestJS, delivering both REST and GraphQL APIs. I design relational schemas and optimize PostgreSQL performance with TypeORM and raw SQL, while integrating third-party payment and authentication providers.

I take quality seriously: I’ve built automated test suites achieving 90%+ coverage for critical backend services. I also containerize services with Docker to support consistent development and deployment environments, and I collaborate closely with frontend engineers and product managers to translate requirements into working backend APIs.

Across my experience, I’ve also sharpened my operational discipline—improving quality processes by reducing defect rates from ~15% to ~3% and increasing process efficiency by 20%. I bring strong version control and testing fundamentals (Git/GitHub, CI/CD, unittest/pytest/Jest/Chai/Sinon) and I’m excited to keep building secure, scalable backend systems end to end.
