What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead civil rights and non-discrimination compliance work—driving risk-based programs, strong investigations, and practical training—while advising executives and guiding teams to meet Federal requirements with confidentiality and measurable results.

I’m a licensed attorney and civil rights leader with deep experience managing transportation and regulatory compliance across local, Federal, and private-sector interests. Currently, I serve as Bureau Chief, Civil Rights at the Illinois Department of Transportation, leading investigators, policy analysts, and administrative staff to ensure compliance with Federal and state nondiscrimination and disability laws.

Earlier, I served the Federal Transit Administration as a Regional Civil Rights Officer, overseeing civil rights law compliance of 140+ Federally-funded transit agencies in the Midwestern region. I developed and launched compliance tools and training, led performance audits and corrective action review, and provided guidance on DBE, EEO, and Title VI requirements—especially for complex ADA-related grant issues.

I’ve also advised executive staff as an Attorney Advisor for the Federal Highway Administration, including legal counseling on environmental, real estate, civil rights, and grant administration law. Across roles, I’m known for creating policy and best practices, delivering effective training, and running investigations with confidentiality, fairness, and measurable risk reduction.
