Designed, built and operate a multi-tenant SaaS for businesses in El Salvador: electronic invoicing integrated with the tax authority's API, point of sale, inventory, expenses and tax reports. Own the full lifecycle (product, architecture, development and deployment) with Laravel, Livewire and PostgreSQL and an AI-first workflow.

Works on the company's largest sites: PCMag and, since their acquisition, CNET and ZDNet, including their recent platform migrations. When the company acquired Lifehacker's content without its platform, migrated the entire archive through an ETL pipeline and built the new platform on Laravel: a Nova-based CMS for the editorial team and the public website. Also worked on Mashable and ExtremeTech.

Mainly responsible for the backend of a social network for closed communities such as universities and churches: the API behind its native mobile apps, built with PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter) and MySQL, plus features for its web application (JavaScript, jQuery). Worked on a web application for managing churches and communities: member attendance, donations, community announcements and reporting. Built its reporting system, which included each piece of information conditionally depending on what the report was for, and shipped new features and bug fixes. Fixed bugs, maintained legacy code and built new features in the back-office application of a point-of-sale platform: products and catalog, inventory, price lists and customers.

Led a team of four building a free public Wi-Fi network for cities and venues such as restaurants, cafés and airports, with a dynamic captive portal that let administrators run targeted advertising. Migrated the application from MySQL to MongoDB, replaced FreeRADIUS with a customized open-source authentication server, and automated the AWS infrastructure with Chef/OpsWorks.

Built desktop and web applications with UniPaaS, a sales-tracking CRM and internal Visual Basic tools; managed MySQL databases.
