At El Salvador’s Ministry of Health, I lead backend development for an institutional fixed-asset management system using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Sequelize. I’m also building PDF reporting and mentoring another developer on the project.
I maintain and extend legacy healthcare applications, build APIs for interoperability with institutional systems, and develop user management and data dashboard features.
At Fundación San Pablo, I ship features in React, TypeScript, Node.js/Express, MongoDB, and Redis through reviewed pull requests. I also built Redil App solo using Astro and PostgreSQL.
In my own systems projects, I built Scout, a Rust file search engine with a hand-rolled inverted index and BM25 ranking, along with a tree-walking interpreter and a TF-IDF search engine in Go. I’m a Computer Engineering student who builds systems from scratch to understand how they work.
