What I'm looking for

I seek a research or applied role combining experimental linguistics and computational methods, with opportunities for mentorship and skill growth.

I am an MA student in Linguistics at the University of Bergen with hands-on experience in experimental design and computational tools. My master's thesis uses experimental methods to test the Russian verb classifier hypothesis, and I completed an exchange year at Universität Stuttgart.

I bring programming skills in Python, R and Bash, experience with NLP tools such as NLTK, and familiarity with TensorFlow, SQL, Git, LaTeX, ELAN and Gorilla Experiment Builder to build reproducible language experiments and analyses.

I have part-time retail and sales experience, strong multilingual ability (Norwegian native; English C2; Spanish C1; German C1; Catalan B1), and I am motivated to apply experimental and computational linguistics skills in research or applied language-technology roles.
