Matilde Nanni
@matildenanni
I evaluate multilingual voice and text AI systems for trustworthy, high-quality language experiences.
What I'm looking for
I've supported production text-to-speech delivery at ReadSpeaker and localized, curated, and evaluated Italian data for Cisco's Webex Assistant. My work spans voice profile selection, script creation, dataset curation, audio-text alignment, QA, and launch support.
At ReadSpeaker, I helped deliver two TTS voices for Corriere della Sera, evaluated 15+ voices across Italian, English, Spanish, and Greek, and turned customer-reported issues into documented recommendations for engineering improvements. I also designed evaluation rubrics, calibrated a three-person panel, managed recordings, and resolved pronunciation issues directly with clients.
I'm now researching ethics in speech technology at the University of Inland Norway, examining identity, privacy, consent, and responsibility in real-world AI voice use cases. My background combines language technology, LLM prompt testing, machine translation, and practical evaluation of AI-generated language data.
