Maria Gomez

I’m a bilingual Teacher Assistant and Behavior Technician who focuses on creating a safe, stimulating environment for kids. I bring strong organization, communication, collaboration, and patience, and I’m BLS Certified to support day-to-day care with confidence.

As a Teacher assistant (Whole kids school - Menlo Park, Ca), I worked with toddlers ages 3 months to 4 years. I provided support to the lead teacher to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment, assisted with planning and preparation of daily activities, and actively played and engaged with students throughout the day.

I also delivered hands-on care through daily diaper changes / potty training, building trust and routines that help children feel secure and ready to learn. Before that, as a Behavior Technician (Ambition’s behavior health - Hayward, Ca), I worked directly with children with Autism and provided direct therapy services to help clients achieve short-term and long-term goals.

Outside of education and therapy, I’ve developed customer-facing leadership and reliability through roles at Target, Chuck E. Cheese, and as a Team leader. I handled customer service, cashier responsibilities, and stock/operations, and I was a Cashier Trainer for new hires—bringing a strong work ethic, people skills, and multitasking to every team I join.
