I’m a Commvault Technical Specialist(UNIX/DB), focused on troubleshooting and resolving Oracle and DB2 backup and recovery issues with RMAN-level precision. I use SQL for troubleshooting and performance optimization, and I apply strong log analysis to pinpoint root causes quickly.

In my current role, I troubleshoot Oracle database backup and recovery processes using RMAN, and I investigate DB2 backup and restore problems by analyzing db2diag and reviewing db2 configurations. I perform log analysis, collect and analyze core dumps and strace logs for RCA, and resolve Linux-related Commvault issues across AIX and Red Hat environments.

I’m known as a top performer and a go-to resource for Oracle RMAN and DB2 backup/restore troubleshooting scenarios. I’ve helped ensure customer satisfaction with a consistent high CSAT return rate (30%+) for 3 quarters in a row, and I provide effective support for escalated and critical customer cases with timely follow-up and resolution.

I also contribute beyond tickets—collaborating with development teams to escalate bugs and propose fixes, and supporting knowledge sharing during onboarding phases. Earlier, as an IT Trainee at Symrise, I built a Java Android app for finance inventory management using Room, integrated a PDA barcode scanner via SDK, and implemented Excel import/export with Apache POI while managing builds with Gradle and version control with Git.
