Loretta Uwase

As a dedicated professional with a strong background in program management, policy development, and business growth, I bring a wealth of experience from various roles across different industries. Currently, I serve as the Program, Policy, and Business Development Lead at Actionaid Rwanda, where I contribute to strategic objectives and provide legal guidance to ensure organizational compliance. My journey includes leading the development of the Country Strategy Program, securing funding through innovative strategies, and fostering partnerships to drive program impact.

Prior to my current role, I was the Partnerships and Liaison Manager at Africa Green Mobility Solutions, where I developed and executed partnership strategies to expand market reach and increase sales. I also managed existing partnerships and represented the company at industry events. My earlier roles include serving as an Administration Manager at ICM Rwanda Agribusiness Ltd, where I maintained financial transparency and ensured cost-effective procurement procedures, and as an Administration and Finance Assistant at Raka Business Consult Ltd, where I handled financial reporting and supported team members.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from the United States International University-Africa and a Project Management Professional certification. I am fluent in English and Kinyarwanda, with basic knowledge of French. My technical skills include project management methodologies, policy analysis, and Microsoft Suite, while my soft skills encompass leadership, stakeholder engagement, and conflict management.
