I’m an Eng–Malay Subtitling Specialist with nearly 15 years of experience and 6 years as a Malay DTT Language Lead. I turn complex content into accurate, audience-ready subtitles—while keeping language quality consistently on target.
As a Freelance DTT Subtitler & QCer (PLINT, Jun 2020–Current), I’ve authored almost 1,500 files under DTT, including Longforms and Supplementals. I manage the Malay DTT pool through training and reviews to hit language and pool KPIs while monitoring OTD.
Across my freelancing work since Jan 2012, I’ve handled subtitle translation, MTPE, and language quality management for teams and platforms including iYuno, Deluxe, ADR Media, SDI Media, Andovar, Point360, and SilverTrak. I also support subtitle workflow accuracy through careful editing and QC discipline.
Before full-time subtitling leadership, I built a strong language foundation through freelance copywriting and translation, including Malay translation for annual/financial reports and marketing materials. I’m now seeking new opportunities where I can contribute as an active subtitler, quality specialist, or localization leader.
